The M60 is fully compatible and compliant with all Digital Voice & VoIP networks.
We have been supplying Alarm Diallers configured for using various types of Digital Voice / VoIP systems since the early 2000’s.

What is Digital Voice & VoIP?

Digital Voice & VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is essentially using the internet to make phone calls rather using PSTN copper analogue phone lines.

When you place or receive a phone call over a Digital Voice / VoIP system your provider is creating a virtual phone line that in most cases is indistinguishable from an analogue line.

Digital Voice & VoIP

Currently the UK is looking to be fully Digital by the end of 2025, other countries will have different schedules and there may end up being special exceptions and delays to this.

Purchasing a New Machine

If you are purchasing a new M60 to connect to a Digital Voice / VoIP system please let us know on purchase and we will make sure it comes with the correct leads ready to connect to your system.

Migrating a Current System to Digital Voice & VoIP

Migrating an M60 or M30 from a standard PSTN analogue line to a Digital Voice / VoIP system is a straight forward process and all of the current features and operations on your machine will work with the new systems.

In most situations it is just a case of rewiring the current phone cabling to your new Digital system.

We would recommend you upgrade your current LIM board for our new Digital LIM board to take full advantage of the new Digital systems.

Please Contact us or visit the How To / Manuals Pages for more indepth migration information.

GSM Modules

Our GSM Module is compatible with Digital Voice / VoIP systems.

If you currently have a GSM Module connected to a PSTN line and wish to migrate it to Digital Voice / VoIP it is just a case of moving your wiring to your new Digital system.

SMS Modules

Our SMS Modules purely use the Mobile/Cell phone networks and don’t use either PSTN or Digital Voice / VoIP systems.
